The Long Beach Island Chapter of Pax Christi is an affiliate of the Long Island Council of Pax Christi and Pax Christi USA. On an inter-faith basis we are committed to peace and justice. We support programs, events and activities that promote the goals of Pax Christi on the local level in cooperation with peace organizations throughout the greater New York area. All LBIChapter members receive Pax Christi’s bimonthly newspaper, The Catholic Peace Voice. Pax Christi produces a variety of publications on nonviolence, peace and justice.

Regular membership fee is $35 a year, or whatever you can afford. Send in this application wherever you live and we will put you in touch with the chapter nearest you. Join or renew your membership now!

I fully support Pax Christi and its mission of peace and justice. As a member I stand committed to Pax Christi’s goals and objectives of fellowship and solidarity with the oppressed, the victims of war and the poor. I commit myself to the principles of non-violence as reflected in the Beatitudes. In my own community I will likewise work to eliminate all forms of violence, racism, inequity and injustice, all of which contradict the Gospel imperative of peacemaking.
