CLERGY AND RELIGIOUS FOR PEACE: A CALL TO END THE WAR
We
come together as LI Clergy and Religious for Peace to express our moral opposition to the war in Iraq.
We call for an end to the war in Iraq
and the withdrawal of U.S. troops.
We seek to encourage a broad dialogue
and a discernment process among Long Island clergy, congregations and communities that will promote a new U.S. foreign policy
based on moral values, human dignity, nonviolence and the rule of law.
