During this Advent
season we look to Christ, the Son of God, Emmanuel, Prince of Peace, and Lord of all. We look to Him, who is to come again.
With Christians everywhere, we lift our hearts in prayer and cry out, our response:
(R.) Come Lord
Jesus! Make all things new and bring unending peace.
(Celebrant)
Come Lord Jesus,
renew the face of the Earth, enkindle in our hearts the fire of your love, a passion for peace, a love for the poor, the victims
of racism, for all the oppressed. Make all things new! Bring peace to the world,
to Iraq,
to Afghanistan, to Jerusalem.
Raise up the suffering, the downtrodden and the oppressed. Come Lord Jesus.!
(R.) Come Lord
Jesus! Make all things new and bring unending peace.

Lord Jesus
