Long Island Jobs With Justice conducts its second annual conference on "Working But Still Poor:
Organizing for Economic Justice on Long Island" on March 30, 8:30AM-2:30PM at Touro Law Center in Central Islip. Speakers include elected officials, such as County Executive Steve Bellone and Congressman Tim Bishop; religious
leaders like Rev. Tom Goodhue of the LI Council of Churches and Father Bill Brisotti of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal,
Wyandanch; labor leaders like John Durzo, LI Federation of Labor, and Dick Iannuzzi, NYS United Teachers; also representatives
from Island Harvest, Long Island Cares, St. Raphael's Parish Social Ministry, LI Progressive Coalition; LI Immigrant Alliance,
